REACH, the acronym for REGULATION concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals, is a chemicals regulatory system formulated by European Union that entered into force on June 1, 2007.
Maysta Chemical has completed the official registration of its organosilicon surfactant products in REACH in May 2011. Maysta is obliged and responsible for ensuring qualified products exported to EU countries and fulfilling its social responsible care.

Fundamental principles of reach registration include: Precautionary Principle; No Data, No Market; One Substance, One Registration.

It is a rule involving production, trade and use safety of chemicals, aimed at protecting human health and environmental safety, maintaining and enhancing competitiveness of EU chemical industry, researching and developing nontoxic and harmless compound, preventing market fragmentation, making chemical uses more transparent, promoting non-animal experiment, pursuing sustainable development of the society, etc. Any commodity shall have a registration file to specify its chemical components, explain how to use the chemical components and present the toxicity assessment report.
As is required by REACH, all imported goods and those manufactured in Europe shall go through a group of comprehensive procedures including registration, evaluation, authorization, restriction, etc. so that chemical components can be recognized more accurately and simply, and that environmental and physical safety can be ensured.
